With over 13 years of experience, Dr. Aniruddha Dayama is presently a Haematology Consultant at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurgaon – India’s first integrated Centre of Excellence in Haematology, Paediatric Haematology, and Stem Cell Transplant.

Dr. Dayama is responsible for managing inpatients, outpatients and transplant patients and also the coordinator for unrelated donor search for Fortis’ Department of Haematology, Paediatric Haematology, Immunology and Stem Cell Transplant. He plans the schedules of patients waiting to undergo Stem Cell Transplants – Autologous or Allogneic with matched related donors/ unrelated donors, or Haploidentical Transplants.

Dr. Dayama started his career as a Resident Doctor at the Department of Medicine, Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur. After a 3-year MD– Medicine training, he moved to Christian Medical College in Vellore as a Senior Registrar. Working under the supervision of Senior Consultants, Dr. Dayama earned invaluable experience in all aspects of Clinical Haematology including Haemato-Oncology, Hemophilia, Post-Transplant Management, Anaemia etc.

In 2009, Dr. Dayama joined the Department of Haematology at India’s premier medical institution – All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as a Senior Resident (Academic), where he completed his Fellowship Degree – DM In Clinical Haematology.

After AIIMS, Dr. Dayama joined Artemis Health Institute in Gurgaon as Consultant – Haematology and Stem Cell Transplantation. At Artemis, he played a pivotal role in getting accreditation for Stem Cell Transplant from the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), USA and writing the Standard Operating Procedure for BMT.

Dr. Dayama has also co-authored several publications on Haematology & Haematology Related Malignancies. Apart from this, he has also done original research work on Incidence of Antiphospholipid Antibodies in Acute & Chronic ITP Patients and on CNS status in patients of ALL & Comparison of Flow Cytometry with Cytomorphology.
