Dr. Rahul Bhargava is the one who pioneered Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant or HSCT for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in India. He is known for his excellent patient outcomes that has earned him the reputation of being one of the best of his generation in this field of specialisation. He has helped establish eight low-cost stem cell transplant centres across India.

Dr. Bhargava has been trained at the centre that is regarded as the ‘cradle’ of Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplant In India – the Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore. From CMC, Dr. Bhargava move to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi for a formal super-specialist degree – DM in Clinical Haematology. Subsequently, Dr. Bhargava was selected for a Fellowship in Vancouver, Canada to undergo specific training in voluntary stem cell and umbilical cord transplantation.

Dr. Praveen Gupta is among the most renowned and experienced neurology specialists in India. Before joining the Fortis family, Dr. Gupta had successfully established the practice of neurology in three large corporate hospitals. Dr. Gupta established the first stroke centre in Gurugram and was the first to use solitaire for mechanical thrombolysis. He also started DBS in Gurugram and DBS
for epilepsy in Asia.

Dr. Gupta is an ardent speaker at various international and domestic medical conferences. Currently, he is the Director and Head of the Fortis Neuroscience Centre that provides the most advanced intervention management of stroke, stroke rehabilitation, cerebral palsy, advanced second line management for multiple sclerosis, epileptic surgery, DBS surgery for Parkinson patients.
